The Playkie idea
A little more in the middle of play.
We're developing a friendly experience where play can sometimes pause for a small moment to learn, move or do something in real life, then continue. Play is still part of the day.
Why Playkie exists
It started at home.
I'm a dad. In our home, one YouTube video often became another. We tried limits. Sometimes they helped; before long, we were back where we started. And we're part of it too: we give our kids screens when we're cooking or need a quiet moment.
If screens are going to be part of my children's lives anyway, can some of that time be more meaningful?
That question became Playkie, a tool I'm building for our family first. I hope it may be useful for yours too.
